What does it take to confront reprehensible crimes? Could you forgive rapists, murderers, police whose bungled procedures allow the worst criminals to roam the streets, or government forces that kill and oppress innocents?

The question is examined in interviews with leaders of great moral conviction, including Desmond Tutu, Thich Nhat Hanh, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Hopi Elders and many more.

~~ “The Big Question is gorgeously shot and meditatively paced.” ~~ Variety review

~~ “The Big Question is rigorous (in the direction), ambitious (in the questions and the searching for answers on the divine) and inspired.” ~~ Rolling Stone review

~~~~~~ FILM 2 ~~~~~~
“Admissions”, a short film starring Oscar nominee James Cromwell that tells a transformational tale about what it takes to find lasting peace.
This modern parable, featuring an Israeli couple and a Palestinian, is set in the admission room for the afterlife and explores what it takes to heal all three.
Directed by Harry Kakatsakis and written by John Viscount, “Admissions” has garnered recognition at 28 film festivals and won 12 awards.
The filmmakers join GATE founder John Raatz for a Q & A following the films.
