“As a young artist I began to see the importance of storytelling through my attraction to mythology. Our ancestral wisdom keepers understood how their stories could help humanity find balance in the powers within ourselves and guide us on our life’s journey. We have now become the wisdom keepers and what we create can help people find bliss and purpose through discovering their gift that they can then give to the children for seven generations.”
He will be presenting his artwork, books and documentary. Like our ancestral storytellers, we have the responsibility to teach the paths toward awakening our true self.
Heyoka is a celebrated multi-media artist, medicine man, and author. Searching for the reason ancient art pieces radiated inner life and power has led him on a lifelong quest of learning. Touching the sacred within his work has brought him international acclaim, and his pieces appear in private collections around the world, including those of Cher, Elton John, George Harrison, Joni Mitchell and Neil Diamond.
